Fergie wants peace with Benitez, forget it

Seems that Alex Ferguson wants to make peace with Benitez if the press are to believed, he has apparently done a piece in the match program saying as much.

Yeah and pigs fly a scheduled service out of heathrow on the hour.

This is his usual mind games rubbish, he cant stand Benitez and the feeling is mutual and he knows it, the truth is that he fears Benitez because he knows that we can inflict some serious damage on their own hopes this weekend.

Hopefully Benitez will tell him where ton stick his doves of peace, a loss for us against “them” would hardly be the end of the world, I mean if we are brutally honest Champions League football next season looks unlikely.

Sure if we beat them we are still in the hunt for 4th spot, we would need all three of Man City, Aston Villa and Tottenham to drop points, maybe one or two of them will but all three is unlikely, no, the satisfaction we will get from a win over red noses lot is that we would really stuff their hopes for the title and that in itself is worth it.

They know that we can do them no matter our form and no matter who is not playing, we have shown that time and time again and all Fergie is doing is trying to look the good guy.

He ain’t the good guy and he knows it and while Benitez is not flavour of the month with most of us a win over that lot will go a long way with the fans.

So Fergie stick your peace offerings where the sun don’t shine.
